Ever stop to think about how your relationship to sweets was formed when you were a child?

Did you get sweets as a reward when you were growing up? Do you reward yourself, or comfort yourself with sweets now? If so, it’s not too late to change that.

Many of my clients have been successful at adjusting their relationship to sweets – it just takes a bit of mindfulness, and a bit of time. The first step to that adjustment is recognizing the pattern and where it comes from.

If you have children, do you reward them with sweets or offer them sweets for comfort?
