It’s been a year of change and vibrant energy already for me.
At the end of this month we packed up and left our home of 7 years. We enjoyed it, and we met some lovely, warm and amazing people.
And yet, the dreams keep calling you until you finally follow them.
The opportunity arose for us to have a life that we’ve been dreaming of, and we received it with open arms.

I’m grateful that we live in a time when I can work from anywhere.
Even though I’ve left my most recent home, I’ll continue to have relationships with people I treasure. I’ll be meeting clients and colleagues on Zoom, writing my book, posting my blog and shooting my videos just the same as before.
In fact we arrived on Friday, and by Monday I was back to my regularly scheduled appointments.
And yet, it’s never easy to pick up and leave everything that you’ve built.
Here’s what I know to be true:
- We can have what we want in life.
- It usually doesn’t come to us in the timing we expect, or the way we expect it.
- And yet, when we’re open to our dreams coming true, we’re ready to see the opportunity when it comes our way. The rest is up to us and how much we’re willing to work for it.

So, we left the bay area last Friday and drove down, across the middle of the great state of California, to our new home in the south.

Where in the south did we move to? I’ll share that in a future post!
Today I’ll share some pictures from our drive from the north to the south. California is such an amazing and diverse state when it comes to landscape as well as people.
Those little specs are free-range cows!
If you’d like to see more pictures more often, connect with me on Instagram or find me on Facebook. You’re always welcome there as well.
What about you?
Are you still dreaming big? Will you take the challenge and go for it when you have a chance to realize your dreams?
I hope so.
Congrats on the decision Luci. Central CA is beautiful!
Thanks, Indu. Central CA was definitely beautiful as we drove through. So much to see there, and everywhere… just a drive away. 🙂
Hello, Dear Dr. Luci Gabel, Founder of LuciFit.com
I am so glad to hear back from you and have you to inform me about your travel to S CA. Wow! It is fantastic to see the places where you are going and very interesting to know how you like so much nature, which is my hobby too.
Furthermore, you can also spotlight the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve, Mojave Desert, and The Huntington Botanic Garden, which is a great way to chill out on a go-go-go vacation like yours. Of course, I hope I will have the opportunity to do the travel around the country later on during my lifetime.
Thank Dr. Gabel so much for having your time to read my message. I wish you will be good with all by God’s blessing throughout your travel and have a great weekend. Take care. Bye for now!
Best regards,
Jorge Sung
Thank you, Jorge. I do appreciate nature and all of the wonderful sites our world has to offer when we just step outside!
Thank you for the great tips for future places to go. I will put them on my list.
Congrats on your new move!
Thank you, Tamara!
