If you like carrots
watch the video above. I share the kinds of carrots that are most tasty. In fact, you’re missing out on a lot of taste if you only eat the small ones.
I’ll show you how to prepare raw carrots so they are delicious,
and stay fresh and crisp for a lot longer in the fridge. This way, you can benefit longer from all of their great nutrients.
Carrots can be ready when you need them for a fast snack
or something to tide you over while making dinner. This technique cuts down on prep time when making lunch for the next day, and eliminates the wait if you just need to chow down on something satisfying.
I love this idea! It is so easy to do and really does take so little time. I love carrots and don’t like them when they start to wilt or are no longer crisp. This has allowed me to eat more vegetables instead of grabbing fresh fruit (which is not bad but I did need to have a better balance). It’s great to grab a carrot when you get the munchies or grab them in the morning as I am preparing my lunch so I can eat them as a snack at the office. The only thing I do different is put the carrots in a glass container with water as opposed to a plastic one. I don’t even need to cover the container in the fridge and the carrots stay fresh all week. I can’t wait for the other fast food ideas!
Solange, this is great info for everyone. Thanks for adding it! I also use a glass with water if I don’t have room in the fridge for my large tupperware. The carrots stay fresh and drink the water like the little plants that they are! Glad to know you’re getting some more veggies in. I hope the next tips help you as well- We all have to work a little at getting those veggies in!
